Taking a sign down is the easy part
Commercial sign removal is rarely just unbolting something. What matters is what gets left behind: the holes in the brick, the rusted anchors, the empty cabinet on the pole, and the landlord clause saying the storefront comes back the way you found it.
We remove storefront signs, wall letters, cabinet signs, pole and pylon signs, monuments, window graphics and interior signage across the Houston area and throughout Fort Bend, Brazoria, Wharton and Matagorda Counties.
We did not have to make your sign to take it down. Most of the removals we handle are somebody else’s work, often from a company that is no longer around.

Illuminated letter sets, dimensional letters and wall-mounted panels, including the anchor patching afterwards.
Pole & Pylon Signs
Cabinet removal from an existing structure, or the whole assembly including the pole and footing.

Ground-level monuments, including breaking out the base where the site needs to be returned to grade.

What a removal actually includes
The quote people expect covers taking the sign off the wall. The quote that matters covers the state the building is in afterwards — because that is what a landlord inspects.

Removing and replacing together
If a new sign is going where the old one was, doing both in one visit saves you a second mobilisation and usually a second crane or lift rental. It also means the fixings, the wall condition and the electrical routing get assessed once by the same people.
A pole sign cabinet in sound condition can often take a new printed face for a fraction of a full replacement — see aluminum sign panels.
How a removal runs
Photos first
Send us pictures and rough dimensions. Most removals can be quoted from photographs without a site visit.
Site check
For anything elevated, structural or on public frontage we look at access, power and traffic before scheduling.
Removal
Dismantled, lowered and loaded. Penetrations patched and surfaces cleaned.
Haul and document
The old sign leaves with us. You get photographs of the finished condition for your landlord.
Where we remove signs
We work across the Houston metro and out through the four counties around the shop — Rosenberg, Richmond, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Katy, Stafford and Fulshear in Fort Bend County, Manvel in Brazoria County, El Campo and Wharton, and Bay City in Matagorda County.

CNC routed & laser cut
We run both a router and a laser, which means shapes, letters and panels are cut here rather than ordered in. Acrylic takes a polished edge off the laser; the router handles wood, aluminium composite and PVC with depth and dimension.
Common questions
Do you remove signs you did not make?
Yes, and most of what we remove is somebody else’s work. You do not need any records for the original sign — photographs of what is there now are enough to quote from.
Will you patch the holes left behind?
Yes. Anchor removal, patching the penetrations and cleaning adhesive residue are part of a standard removal. If your lease specifies a particular finished condition, send us that clause and we will quote to it.
What happens to the old sign?
We haul it away and dispose of it. If you want it kept — some businesses keep original lettering — tell us before the crew goes out and we will pack it instead.
Can you quote from photographs?
Usually. Clear photographs of the sign, the surrounding wall and something for scale will get you a number for most storefront work. Elevated, structural or roadside jobs need a site visit first.
What about signs that are lit?
Power has to be disconnected before removal. We coordinate that with a licensed electrician as part of scheduling the job.
How much notice do you need?
It depends on access and equipment, but straightforward storefront removals can often be scheduled within a week. We are open Monday through Thursday, so call early in the week if you have a move-out date.
