We do not handle sign permits in house. We can refer you to a partner who does, and we build to whatever your approval specifies.
Common questions
What sign material lasts longest on the Texas Gulf Coast?
Solid aluminium or aluminium composite with a laminated digital print. The substrate will outlast the graphic; what fails is unprotected ink. Laminated prints hold colour for several years here against under a year for unlaminated flatbed UV work.
How big should my sign be?
It depends on the setback and the speed of the road it faces, not the size of your lot. A sign read from a 45 mph road needs considerably more lettering height than one at a gate. Tell us both and we will size it.
Do I need a permit for a sign in Fort Bend County?
It depends on the type, size, placement and jurisdiction, and in leased premises you may also need landlord approval separately. We do not handle permitting in house but can refer you to a partner who does.
Should I reface my existing sign or replace it?
Reface, in almost every case where the structure is sound. The cabinet, poles and footing are the expensive parts and they routinely outlive the face by a decade. Send photographs and we will tell you which you are looking at.
What is the difference between laminated and UV direct printing?
UV direct cures ink onto the bare surface with nothing over it. We print then bond a clear protective layer over the ink. That layer takes the UV, resists scuffing during installation and handles the humidity that lifts unprotected edges.
