A sign company that will actually come to Wharton

We are a sign company serving Wharton, TX from our shop in Rosenberg — about thirty-five minutes up US 59. That is roughly half the distance most Houston sign companies would have to travel, which is the practical reason we quote work out here and they mostly do not.

In business since 1976 and locally owned, we build rigid printed panels, job site and construction signage, commercial and land signs, banners and CNC cut work for businesses across Wharton and the surrounding county.

Everything printed is digitally printed and laminated rather than flatbed UV direct — which matters more out here than in town, because there is no shade and nothing breaks the sun.

Land changes hands out here

Wharton County is a land market as much as a business market — rice, cattle, cotton and river-bottom acreage moving between families, brokers and neighbouring operations. That work needs a specific kind of sign, and almost nobody local is set up to make it.

Where the work is in Wharton

Wharton is the county seat, so the downtown square around the courthouse carries the professional business — law offices, title companies, insurance and accountancy needing building identification and printed material more than roadside advertising.

Wharton County Junior College anchors a good deal of activity, and the businesses serving students and staff keep the banner and printing side busy. Along US 59 it is the commercial frontage: dealerships, service businesses, restaurants and the agricultural suppliers that sit where the highway meets the farm roads.

Beyond town it is the Colorado River bottom and the farmland either side of it — rice, cattle and cotton operations needing gate signs, property identification and land listing panels.

How a Wharton job runs

01

Call or send photos

Tell us what the sign has to do and where it goes. Photographs of the frontage answer most questions.

02

Design

We lay it out, and if you are in a leased unit we design to the sign criteria your landlord has issued.

03

Print & fabricate

Made in the Rosenberg shop. Digitally printed and laminated, not flatbed UV direct.

04

Install

We come out to Wharton and install — roughly thirty-five minutes from the shop.

Why not just use a Houston company

You can, and some do. The difficulty is that a Houston sign shop is an hour and a half away from Wharton in traffic, which means site visits get avoided, installs get scheduled around everything else, and a small remedial job that should take twenty minutes becomes a half-day trip nobody wants to make.

We are thirty-five minutes up the road and we already drive out here weekly. That is the whole argument. See also our Bay City and Needville pages.

Cut in house

CNC routed & laser cut

We run both a router and a laser, which means shapes, letters and panels are cut here rather than ordered in. Acrylic takes a polished edge off the laser; the router handles wood, aluminium composite and PVC with depth and dimension.

CNC & laser cutting

Acrylic Laser cut letters, logos and panels with a polished edge
Wood Routed and carved, cut to shape at depth
Aluminium composite Contour cut rigid panels and shaped signs
PVC & Lexan Clean contours for indoor and outdoor use

Common questions

Do you really come out to Wharton?

Yes, regularly. The shop is in Rosenberg, about thirty-five minutes up US 59. Wharton is a routine run for us rather than a special trip, which is not true of the Houston sign companies.

Can you do land and acreage signs?

Yes, and it is a good share of what we do out here. 4×8 and 4×4 aluminium panels sized for county roads, plus tract and parcel identification on larger holdings.

What lasts longest in open country?

Aluminium or aluminium composite with a laminated digital print. Out here there is no shade and nothing breaks the sun, so unlaminated flatbed UV work fades noticeably faster than it would in town.

Do you make ranch and gate entrance signs?

Yes — carved and routed, in timber or HDU. On the Gulf Coast we will usually steer you to HDU, which carves identically but does not rot, split or warp.

How quickly can you turn a job around?

Simple banners and window graphics with ready artwork often go out in a few business days. Fabricated signage takes longer. We are open Monday through Thursday, so call early in the week.

Do you handle sign permits?

No, not in house. We can refer you to a partner who does, and we build to whatever dimensions and placement your approval specifies.
